  • Lucinda Hewitson

    CEO and Founder of Diversity Inclusion
    BPsych (Honours), MPsych

    Lucinda Hewitson is an industry leader in Diversity and Inclusion. As an Organisational Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience, Lucinda works with companies and industry bodies in Australia and abroad.

    Since establishing her business in 2013, Lucinda has advised global mining companies, federal and state government agencies, utilities, the insurance sector, and international consulting firms on improving diversity and inclusion in the workplace.Lucinda was formerly the Head of HR: Recruitment, Resourcing and Diversity & Inclusion at BAE Systems Australia. She was a finalist in the 2013 AHRI Diversity Awards and a Telstra Business Women's Award finalist in 2015 and 2020.

  • Georgia Brown

    Programs Manager
    BPsych (Honours), MPsych

    As a member of the Diversity Inclusion team, Georgia partners with organisations across Australia, supporting them to assess their current state, identify specific needs and objectives, and implement strategies to support their improvement.

    As a registered psychologist, Georgia holds a special interest in creating positive, psychologically safe, work environments, assessing and developing inclusive facilities and educating organisations about the benefits of diversity and inclusion.

    Georgia delivers Diversity Inclusion’s workshops to clients across Australia, in global mining organisations, government agencies, professional and sporting organisations and within the production industry. She has also led the design and development of Diversity Inclusion’s online learning modules, partnering with clients to understand their unique needs, and creating online solutions to meet these requirements.

  • Josie Miller

    Operations Manager
    BPsych (Honours), MPsych

    Josie Miller is an experienced practitioner with a Masters Degree in Organisational Psychology. Josie is passionate about applying psychology to organisations and creating psychologically safe, diverse and inclusive work cultures. Josie specialises in the delivery of Diversity Inclusion’s Call it Out and Psychological Safety programs with abroad range of clients in Australia and internationally. She is an experienced workshop facilitator, including delivery of Diversity Inclusion’s Train-the-Trainer programs. Previously, Josie worked at Melbourne-based psychometric testing provider, Testgrid, and has experience with managing teams, individual and group coaching, delivering psychometric assessment programs and debriefs. Prior to this, Josie provided mental health case management services to diverse client groups with Mission Australia.

  • Dr Matthew Welsh

    D&I Associate
    B.A.(Hons), B.Sc.(Hons), Ph.D. (Psychology), G.C.Ed., M.Psych (current)

    Matthew has a Ph.D. in psychology and is an expert and author in recognising and avoiding the various biases that affect people’s decisions, including social biases leading to stereotyping, groupthink, implicit bias and discrimination. He has worked with Diversity Inclusion clients in Australia and New Zealand, to baseline their level of diversity and inclusion and to recommend actions for improvements. Matthew is also a skilled facilitator and experienced in delivering Call It Out workshops with clients.

    In addition to Matthew’s work with Diversity Inclusion, he is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, where he researches decision making.

    Matthew is currently in the final stages of a Masters of Organisational Psychology.
