Psychological Safety

Building inclusive leadership competency and creating safer workplaces for all

For diversity and inclusion (D&I) to be successfully integrated in an organisation, it requires leaders to role-model and promote psychological safety in their daily work. This is a critical part of inclusive leadership – one of the three foundations of a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Psychological Safety Program– building leadership capability that drives diversity and inclusion

Our Psychological Safety Program equips leaders and managers with the practical skills they need to build inclusive teams, increase psychological safety, and encourage an inclusive workplace culture.

The Program comprises 2 x half-day workshops followed by small group online coaching from our consultants. Participants learn the vital role that psychological safety plays in organisations through case studies and industry research. The Program is designed to go beyond the theory and build practical skills across your management cohort.

In addition, workshop participants build their own psychological safety action plan and receive follow-up group coaching to discuss any challenges, roadblocks, or successes they may have experienced when putting their new knowledge into practice. This approach not only strengthens knowledge and solidifies participant learning, but provides an opportunity for employees to hear and learn from each other.

Incorporate into your Leadership Development Program

In today’s working environment, understanding and being able to foster psychological safety is a critical skills for all managers and leaders. In addition, a culture of psychological safety also supports workplaces to create a physically and mentally safe workplace, helping your organisation to mitigate the risks of psycho-social hazards.
