Flexible work is becoming more common in Australian workplaces and is at the heart of creating more diverse and inclusive organisations.
Diversity Inclusion offers a range of services designed to support businesses to embed, train and promote a flexible working ethos. Our services include:
Customised training for managers
We provide interactive workshops that equip managers with an understanding of flexible work, as well as the skills they need to deal with flexible work requests, manage a flexible working team, measure outcomes, and optimise employee performance. This training also helps managers understand the importance of, and how to, focus on the quality of the work, rather than time spent in the workplace.
Policies and procedures
We can review your existing policies and procedures to ensure they are inclusive and facilitate flexible working arrangements, or work with you to create new flexible working policies and procedures from scratch. We can also provide training to ensure managers and employees are educated about these policies and supported in their transition to flexible work.
Supporting staff working remotely
We have a range of services designed to support employees who are working remotely. These include:
Interactive webinar – this webinar provides employees with the tools they need to best manage their psychological wellbeing as well as tips and tricks to enhance their productivity at home.
Working from home survey – collecting data from your own employees, this survey is designed to assist the organisation to better support staff wellbeing and drive the productivity of their remote workforce.
Flexible work implementation
When developing a flexible work plan, best practice sees organisations undertake extensive consultation with diverse groups of employees. Diversity Inclusion can facilitate this process, supporting you to thoroughly understand employee needs and challenges via focus groups, in-depth one-on-one meetings, and surveys. From there, we will create a tailored plan that articulates your organisation’s case for change, vision for the future, timelines, governance considerations, project plan, project team, and measures for success.
